Air suspension is very delicate. If, after the vehicle has been stationary for about 12 hours, the height on one side of the vehicle drops more than 1.5 cm when measured from the wheel arch to the tire, we will determine that there is a slight air leak in the air spring or distribution valve on that side and warn you of the high subsequent repair costs.

Two main shipping methods are used for used cars from China: 1) Container shipping: the car is loaded into a 20ft or 40ft container. Safer, protects from weather and damage, and allows personal items inside the car. Slightly more expensive. 2) RoRo (roll-on/roll-off): the car is driven onto the ship. Peak season (before Chinese New Year and summer) can add delays, so book space 2-3 weeks ahead.

This is a common issue with sea transport. If the vehicle is parked at a humid dock, the EPB can easily rust to the brake disc. In addition to testing its release before shipping, we try to ask dock workers to secure the wheels with chocks instead of fully engaging the electronic parking brake.
