BMW Certified Pre-Owned vehicles promise that every BMW Certified Pre-Owned vehicle undergoes rigorous quality inspection and restoration. From the proper functioning of the engine and transmission to details such as tire tread thickness (at least 3mm), remaining maintenance mileage (over 6,000 km), and sufficient brake disc and pad thickness, every item is meticulously inspected and restored. Vehicles that have been flooded, passed through trains, or have significant structural damage or deformation are excluded. Every BMW Certified Pre-Owned vehicle comes with BMW 24-hour roadside assistance, trade-in service, test drive, a minimum 12-month or unlimited mileage warranty, BMW Financial Services professional loan services, and assistance with vehicle transfer.
Our responsibility ends with delivering the vehicle to the Russian border or Far East port and providing the legal Chinese export documents. The payment of Scrap Tax, application for SBKTS (Vehicle Structure Safety Certificate), and activation of the final e-PTS electronic passport must be fully handled by the Russian buyer and their local customs broker.
We will proactively provide a third-party inspection report (such as from Check Doctor), support customers in re-inspection at the store, and promise "return of major accident vehicles."
Plan for roughly 25-40% on top of the vehicle price. The main items are: 1. Pre-purchase: deposit (10-30%), third-party inspection fee (100-300 USD). 2. In China: inland trucking to the port, export declaration fees. 3. Shipping: ocean freight (container 20ft usually 1,500-4,000 USD depending on destination), marine insurance (about 0.3-0.5% of car value). 4. In your country: customs duty, VAT/GST, port handling and storage, customs broker, quarantine or pre-shipment inspection if required, registration and plates. Always ask the exporter for an itemized landed-cost estimate for your specific port before paying the deposit, and confirm which Incoterm the quote is based on (FOB, CIF or DDP makes a big difference).
