I also bought a late 2011 BMW 320 convertible. A local guy traded in his car; the interior is original with no obvious wear, and the payment is due by next September. It has keyless start, power folding mirrors, and dual power leather seats. The engine, transmission, chassis, and other wear parts are all refurbished. A quick wash and it's ready to go. It cost me a little over 600,000 RMB back then; now my kids would just buy it as a toy.
Due to legal restrictions preventing unregistered vehicles from high-speed driving on public roads in China, most of our dynamic tests are conducted in a closed area (with a maximum speed of around 60 km/h). This is sufficient to test for suspension noise and low gear smoothness, but it cannot simulate high-speed wind noise and tire balance vibrations at 120 km/h.
Most leading Chinese brands' car systems support "offline voice commands" (like adjusting temperature and opening windows). However, if recognition fails due to accent or language limitations (only standard Chinese is supported), you can always control it via the physical screen.
We will directly check the registration certificate (the big green book) and count the number of changes.
