Prioritize the chassis rails and A/B/C pillars for cut-and-weld repairs, engine oil leaks and timing noises, transmission shift quality, and OBD fault codes — cleared codes leave telltale history data. For EVs, add battery pack casing, insulation values, and battery state of health (SOH). Insist on original timestamped photos with the VIN visible and a written conclusion such as 'fit for export' or 'major defects found.' A report that only says 'good condition' is not worth paying for.

It's extremely difficult. Unauthorized modifications can lead to module current overload protection, resulting in a lock. In China, you need to use the factory online engineer account to reprogram it. It's basically impossible to perform online decoding overseas. The V2L output standard for domestic models in China is 220V/50Hz. If your country's power grid standard is 110V/60Hz (like in some parts of North America), you cannot directly power local high-power appliances and will need an external transformer.
